NIP + FAB Shine Fix!

Right ladies,

hope everyone is well, today i want to talk about this lovely little product i got in one of my beauty boxes!
its the NIP+FAB shine fix. i hadnt heard about this product before but i had heard of the brand as i own the NIP+FAB tummy fix! (in which i love by the way, but thats a whole different post).

i cant remember which box i got this in but it was either the glossy box or carmine box not that it matters now as they have combined forces! anyways, i did a little reading about this product and it says its a "mattifying gel". this gel is to control the shine on your t-zone area. it absorbs oil flow throughout the day to help promote a fresh looking complexion.

i dont usually suffer from to much shine on my skin but i have noticed that when it is hot i do have a little shine on my forehead. a couple of weeks ago when we had the amazing weather i used this product and i have to say it was brilliant! i first applied this before my foundation primer and it seemed to really work for me.
its very light in consistency and easy to apply, once applied i rub into my t-zone using circular motions and it dry to a clear result. once my skin is dry from this product i got ahead to add my primer, i do have to say my primer does take away the shine from my face if i have any but having this little extra product for when my fore head is extra shiny has been a great help in the warmer weather. will i repurchase this product in full size??? i dont think i will as the prices are quite hefty, and as i said my primer does most of the work for me!
but a great little freebie and was very pleased.! if anyone else has used this please let me know what you think id love to hear.

MUA Shadows! So Worth the £1

MUA eye shadows so worth the £1 each! i have got to say i really really LOVE these eye shadows!
they have so much pigmentation and i love the sheen in which it leaves on your eye!
the three shadows i have are all in the "pearl" collection they also have a matt collection and im not 100% if there are any others! please let me know if you ladies know any different.

so the colours i have are from top to bottom.
pearl range no.24
pearl range no.11
pearl range no.12

the top one is a gorgeous sheer rosey pink i really love this one for a sunny day, the middle one is a lovely bronze/gold colour, i love anything bronzy gold so this is the winner for me and the bottom one i can only describe as gun metal, again which is amazing! these eye shadows are truly great and at the small cost of £1 each you just cant go wrong. i 100% want to add to my collection and will be in the near future.

i cannot get over the colour you get from these small costing eye shadows and they last the duration of my day really well. im sure alot of you have many of these so please let me know of any other colours you may have. they have a lovely size range of colours and i cannot wait to pick some more.
whilst the packaging is plain and simple it looks classic in clear and black plastic. to look at you would never believe they would have such a small price tag. i love these eye shadows well done MUA! keep up the amazing reasonable priced makeup we love it!

W7 Africa Bronzer!

Hi guys, well have this exciting little bronzer to tell you about, its by W7 in which i havent tried before but when i saw this i couldnt resist as it was so eye catching and the price made my mind up for sure.
this is boxed just like a range of benefit products in the little square boxes. lovely colours and design too.

what was even more exciting was when i opened the product!
inside is this lovely sheer bronzer, in the lovely design of leopard print! i cannot resist a little bit of leopard print! the colours are a lovely bronzy colour, a sheer pink and then a deeper goldy colour.
it looked quite dramatic when i opened it but when i tested it it was really pretty and sheer! perfect for the summer!
it came with this lovely little soft square brush! which is ideal for the shape of the box to apply.
it has no smell at all which is a bonus and goes on really well, like i said tho it is a really sheer product perfect for a slight shimmer look in the summer if you are already sporting a tan and are not using blush!
it could be used on the body to which would be lovely.
i am a big bronzer fan and sometimes find them to heavy or orangy but this year i have a few bronzers in which i really like and achieve lovely natural results.

all round this is an amazing little bronzer well worth a try, i purchased this from superdrug at £2.99! BARGAIN! im not sure if its a one off offer or they will have this always or in everystore i hope they do for everyone to try it. anyone with bronzers they love please let me know.

Battle Of The Concealers!

Hi guys, well i have this real issue with concealers! i actually only own these three as ones i have had in the past i just DONT like and have thrown away! so any suggestions and help on this topic would really really help me!

the three concealers are-
benefit boi-ing in shade02
17 hide away in shade medium
collection 2000 lasting perfection in shade medium

so let me start with the most costly concealer and the one that i thought i was going to absolutely fall in love with! Boi-ing concealer by benefit is a beautifully packaged product as always by this brand and to look and and touch you think it is going to hold up to its description as it says it is an "industrial strength concealer".
the colour is perfect for me but i cannot for the life of me seem to apply this concealer! it is a very hard consistency and when applied when you start to blend it seems to rub straight back off again!
i have used my finger a brush and a pad to try and get round this issue but it seems to do exactly the same with every applicator! which is a shame as the colour is great for me! at £16.50 this is an expensive product to not be able to use so was quite disappointed.

Next is the "17 Hide Away" liquid concealer,i have this is the shade medium this is a really good product if you are trying to hide a light blemish or shadow, it goes on easily, it blends evenly and is a all round nice product, but yes there is a small but, i would only suggest using this IF it is a light blemish you are trying to hide! its not a thick concealer and doesnt have the stay power ive been after! so for everyday use to hide those little face glitches you dont like it fine. at £3.99 its a great price and worth its value.

AND FINALLY!!! THE WINNING ONE FOR ME!!! now i asked around on twitter some advice from fellow makeup entuiasts about a GREAT COVERING  concealer to hide unwnated blemishes and mostly the dark shadows i  suffer from around my eyes!
suggested this to me and i was over the moon when i purchased this product! at £4.19 it is amazing! this liquid concealer is brilliant, it hide all my shadows and blemishes and i couldn't ask for more in a concealer!
the stay power is brilliant and last me all day! application is easy and blends so evenly. so hand down this is my winner! i will 100% be re purchasing this and to be honest i dont know if there is a concealer out there which is better! if you do know of any please do tell me as i would love to try them out.

Bubbye Mr Milo :( we will miss you xxx

This has nothing to do with my beauty bits and bobs, but as my blog is like my online diary of my everyday life, i wanted to say good bye to my little dog milo.
sadly he had to be put to sleep yesterday and as all you dog lovers and owners out there will appreciate it was the hardest thing i have ever had to do :(

we loved him so much and i hope he is now in peace and happy wherever he will be :)
left a massive whole in mine and hubby hearts and the girls too but we have so many lovely memories and pictures so he will never be forgotten.

Osiris Apricot Scrub

hi ladies, i have got this little cheap and cheerful product in which i had to tell you about as this is amazing!
this is the osiris apricot face and body scrub, this product smells AMAZING and reminded me so much of something and took me about 3 days to realise what that smell actually was! believe it or not i think this smells like palma vilolets the sweets! it is to die for.

but great i hear you say it smells nice, of course this doesnt tell you how the product actually works. this product has been brilliant for me, i know my skin is pretty "normal" apart from slight dry patches sometimes and some oily patches but ive not found products that i cant use as of yet. this is lovely on my face i pop some in my hand lathe up in my hand not that it lathe up to much then gentle in circular motions rub into my face, avoiding the eyes. its has the small abrasive beads within it, but they are a perfect size to actually act as a scrub to remove unwanted skin. i then rise off either by splashing my face with warm water or using a warm flannel to wipe away the scrub. it really does leave my skin feeling soft and clean and very awake so i tend to use this one in the morning. this product is 99p so please give it a try, really great for an everyday product or when needed.

Garnier Body Intensive Hyrdrating Lotion

Garnier Body Intensive 7 days hydrating lotion.

ive seen many reviews on this moisturiser over the past few weeks and thought id give it a go. especially  as it was on offer at £1.99 in boots at the moment. so i took some time to have a look at them and i must say they all have AMAZING scents. i went for the NORMAL SKIN type as this is whats best suited to myself.

this moisturiser is lovely its really light and whilst i say moisturiser its actually a lotion. a milky consistency in which goes onto the skin and leaves a cool refreshing texture. this is exactly what i was looking for and i really enjoy using this product. i like that it has a fast absorbing effect and doesnt leave a sticky skin feeling like you have to wait for it to dry.

the normal scent is in moisturising aloe vera and smells divine very natural and subtle. this product says to make your skin feel intensely hydrated for up to 7 days, and to be honest ive been using this for the past 4 days and it really has had a lovely effect on my skin, it feels alot softer and healthier and while im not sure if it would leave your skin hydrated for 7 days its definatley doing something good. give it a go ladies.
